Light Brie & Jam

This is a fast & easy hors d’oeuvre (it literally takes 2 minutes) that you can make almost anywhere there’s a microwave! My mom likes to serve this with crackers and an assortment of other cheeses when she has company and when I saw that President now makes a light brie I was really excited. I think the light brie stands up pretty well to the full fat version and though you can use any flavor of jam you prefer, I saw the Smuckers Sugar Free Blackberry and thought it sounded like a good match. If you end up having leftovers of this it’ll also taste great sliced and warmed up on a turkey wrap or Panini!

Light Brie & Jam
Source: Adapted from my mom

Ingredients:
7 oz President Light Brie
1/3 c Smuckers Sugar Free Jam (I used Blackberry)

Directions:
1.    Remove the rind off just the top surface of the wheel of cheese with a knife. Spread 1/3 c of jam onto cleared surface of brie. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until warmed through.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with your favorite crackers!

Yields 4 servings*. Weight Watchers Points Plus: 4 per serving
*The serving size really depends on if you’re serving this as an appetizer or eating it for lunch, what else you’re serving, etc. The entire recipe is 16 pts+ so it seemed easiest to divide it into quarters for serving size.
